 Bituminous coal is the most abundant type of coal and is the most commonly used for electricity generation and industrial purposes. Our bituminous coal is highly valued and most supplied for its versatility and high heating value. Due to its high demand in both the power and steel industries, it is a dependable source of energy with balanced combustion properties, making it a practical choice for a wide range of industrial applications. It has a carbon content usually ranging from about 45% to 86%, depending on the grade. This type of coal has a higher calorific value than lignite and sub-bituminous coal but lower than anthracite.
